Ingredients
  • 4 (6 ounce) yellowfin tuna steaks
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 4 wedges lemon, for garnish

Pierce tuna steaks multiple times with a fork and position them in a shallow glass baking dish.

Combine oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, lemon peel, and garlic in a bowl; pour the mixture over the tuna steaks. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 to 3 hours.

Heat the grill to a medium temperature and lightly grease the grating surface. Remove the tuna from its marinade; gently shake off any remaining marinade and transfer it to a plate.

Pour the marinade into a small saucepan; bring it to a boil. Decrease the heat to medium-low and simmer the marinade for 10 minutes.

Cook the tuna on the preheated grill, basting it with the boiled marinade, until it is fully cooked through, taking 5 to 6 minutes per side. Serve with lemon wedges.
