Ingredients
- 4 (2 g) bags green tea
- 5 cups boiling water, divided
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 cups brandy
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Instructions
1
Boil 2 cups of water in a large pot until it reaches a rolling boil. Then, add the tea bags and let them steep for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse into the liquid.
2
Meanwhile, prepare a separate container by pouring 3 cups of boiling water from the same pot into it. Add sugar to this mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
3
Then, add the brandy, lemonade concentrate, and orange juice concentrate to this mixture. Stir everything together until it's well combined.
4
Remove the tea bags from the pot and add the steeped tea to this mixture. Stir everything together until it's fully incorporated.
5
Cover the container and place it in the freezer to chill for 8 hours or overnight. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the mixture to thicken.
6
To serve, scoop out the desired amount of the frozen mixture into a glass. Then, fill the glass with lemon-lime soda and stir gently.
