- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Begin by heating a 2 quart saucepan over a low flame, allowing the butter to soften and become pliable. Next, combine the flour, salt, mustard, and pepper in the saucepan, stirring until they form a uniform mixture. Then, gradually add the milk and Worcestershire sauce to the saucepan, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Continue to stir the mixture for 10 minutes, or until it reaches a thickened consistency.
