Ingredients
- 3 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 3 cups uncooked white rice
- 4 small heads baby bok choy, trimmed and chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 4 mushrooms, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 cup water, or more if needed
- ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Combine 3 teaspoons of chicken bouillon powder with 3 1/2 cups of water in a rice cooker.
2
Stir together the rice, baby bok choy, green onions, carrot, and mushrooms with the chicken bouillon powder and water mixture.
3
Begin cooking the rice cooker and let it continue until all the liquid has been absorbed by the rice, resulting in tender grains, approximately 50 minutes.
4
Combine an additional 1 teaspoon of chicken bouillon powder with 1/4 cup of water in a small bowl; transfer the mixture to a blender.
5
Add about 1 cup of the cooked rice mixture into the blender along with the chicken bouillon and water mixture; blend until a smooth, thin paste forms, adding more water as necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
6
Combine the rice paste with the remaining cooked vegetables and rice, mixing until everything is fully incorporated and well combined.
7
Add a pinch of black pepper to season the dish.
