- 8 cups soft bread cubes, divided
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning

Collect and prepare all necessary ingredients before commencing the recipe.

Heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat and cook the sausage until it is uniformly browned on all sides, taking approximately 10 minutes.

Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet with a slotted spoon and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess moisture.

Carefully pour the remaining pan drippings into a measuring cup and add as much melted margarine as required to measure 1 full cup.
