Twisted Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole
Ingredients
  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 8 slices ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) package herb-seasoned dry bread stuffing mix
Instructions
1
Firstly, preheat the oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or equivalently, 175 degrees Celsius).
2
Next, position the chicken breasts in a baking dish that has been lightly coated with oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3
Following this, place a thin slice of ham on top of each chicken breast, followed by another slice of cheese.
4
In a separate container, blend together the soup, sour cream, wine, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper until they are fully incorporated.
5
Pour this mixture over the chicken/ham/cheese pieces, making sure they are all coated evenly.
6
Finally, sprinkle the dry stuffing mix over the top of everything to cover it completely.
7
Place the dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius) for approximately 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
