SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 4 pita bread rounds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - chopped
- 2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can tomato puree
- ground cumin to taste
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius. Place the pita bread on a baking sheet in the oven to toast lightly.
2
To keep warm, cut the toasted pita into small, manageable pieces and set them aside.
3
In a skillet over medium heat, warm some oil until it's hot. Then add the chicken, onion, and garlic to the skillet; cook until the chicken is fully cooked through and its juices run clear.
4
To add flavor to your dish, stir in a tomato purée after the chicken is cooked. Season with cumin, salt, and pepper to taste.
5
Continue cooking the mixture in the skillet for a few minutes, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
6
Arrange the toasted pita pieces in a serving dish. Drizzle melted butter over them, and then spoon the chicken mixture on top.
7
Finish your dish with a dollop of yogurt and some chopped parsley, which you can place on top or around the serving dish.
