- 3/4 cup water
- 3 saffron threads

Collect all the necessary ingredients beforehand.

Microwave sliced mangoes for 1-2 minutes on High, or until they become tender and soft.

Allow the mangoes to cool down completely before removing their outer skin and inner seeds, then transfer the pulp into a large mixing container.

In a medium-sized saucepan, heat sugar and water over low heat until the mixture starts to simmer.

Increase the heat to medium-high and continue boiling the sugar syrup until it reaches a consistency where fine, soft threads form. This should take about 5 minutes, or until it reaches a temperature of 270 degrees F (135 degrees C).

Mix the cooked mango pulp into the sugar syrup, then add saffron threads and continue boiling until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency. This should take around 5 minutes.

Fill sterilized jars with the cooked jam and seal them according to your canning instructions.
