Ingredients
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 (16 ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 cup chopped watercress
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 3 drops hot red pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
- freshly ground black pepper to taste

Combine the broth and water in a large cooking vessel; heat until it reaches its boiling point.

Add frozen tortellini to the broth mixture and cook, periodically stirring, until the pasta rises to the surface and its filling is warm, taking around 6-8 minutes. Introduce watercress and scallions into the broth mixture and cook until the greens soften, approximately 2 minutes. Add a few dashes of hot pepper sauce.

Finish by sprinkling grated Romano cheese and a pinch of black pepper over the top for presentation.
