Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 (28 ounce) can sliced cling peaches in heavy syrup
Instructions
1
Begin by preheating your oven to a medium-high temperature, which is equivalent to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
To assemble the dish, mix together self-rising flour and sugar in a bowl, creating a smooth and even blend. Next, add milk to the mixture, stirring until it's fully incorporated.
3
In a separate container, melt butter in the microwave or on the stovetop until it reaches a liquid state. Pour this melted butter into an oven-safe bowl.
4
Now, pour the flour mixture from the previous step into the bowl with the melted butter. Create a layered effect by adding peaches on top, which have been coated in heavy syrup.
5
At this point, refrain from stirring the mixture to preserve its layered structure. Place the bowl in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the peaches are bubbly and the crust is lightly browned.
