- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Combine the tuna, bread crumbs, green onions, egg, and garlic in a bowl. Thoroughly incorporate the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, ketchup, sesame oil, and pepper into the mixture until it's smooth and even. Divide the tuna mixture into 6 equal parts, shaping each portion into a patty approximately 1-inch thick. \nDust the surface of each patty lightly with cornmeal on all sides to prevent sticking. \nHeat a moderate amount of oil in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties in batches in the hot oil until they turn golden brown, approximately 5 minutes per side.
