Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 pounds flank steak, cut into thin strips
- 32 wooden skewers (8 inch long) soaked in water

Combine the marinade ingredients - soy sauce, olive oil, water, molasses, mustard powder, ginger, garlic powder and onion powder - in a large resealable bag. Seal the bag and thoroughly mix all the components together using a shaking motion. Add steak strips to the marinade mixture in the bag and seal it again. Store the marinated contents in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Next, preheat your oven's broiler to its highest temperature setting. Thread the steak strips onto skewers, making sure they are securely attached, and place them on a broiling rack.

Finally, place the skewered steak strips under the oven's broiler and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Once done, transfer the steak strips to a serving platter and present immediately
