- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon white vinegar
- salt and ground black pepper to taste

Insert a steamer basket into a saucepan, ensuring it is securely positioned. Fill the saucepan with water, leaving about an inch of space at the bottom.

Bring the water to a rolling boil. Next, add the baby carrots and cover the saucepan with a lid. Steam the carrots for 3 to 6 minutes, or until they are tender and easily pierced with a fork.

In a small microwave-safe container, combine honey, butter, vanilla extract, and vinegar. Heat the mixture in the microwave oven on high for 30 seconds.
