- 2/3 cup prepared yellow mustard
- 1 1/2 pounds ham steaks
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple rings in juice, sliced

Position the oven rack approximately 6 inches away from the heat source and set the broiler to its highest temperature.

Combine dark brown sugar and mustard in a bowl, stirring until well incorporated. Place the ham on a broiling pan rack and evenly coat both sides with the sugar-mustard mixture.

Place the ham under the broiler in the preheated oven and cook until it develops a golden brown color on one side, approximately 5 minutes. Flip the ham over and brush it with pineapple juice from a can, then continue to broil for another 5 minutes. Top the ham with pineapple rings during the final 2 minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye on it as it cooks quickly.
