  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can sliced pineapple, drained with juice reserved
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Before preparing the ham for baking, attach pineapple slices to the ham using toothpicks and position cherries in the center of the pineapple arrangement.

Combine brown sugar with the reserved pineapple juice in a medium-sized microwave-safe container. Stir the mixture and heat it in the microwave for approximately 5 minutes, or until the glaze reaches a thick consistency.
