Ingredients
- 16 ounces strawberries, quartered
- 2 medium Golden Delicious apples - peeled, cored and diced
- 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
- 8 ounces raspberries
- 3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 10 (10 inch) flour tortillas
- butter-flavored cooking spray
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
Instructions
1
To prepare the sweet and tangy salsa, combine a variety of fruits in a large container - including strawberries, apples, kiwis, and raspberries - with fruit preserves and two types of sugar in a bowl. Stir until everything is well incorporated, then refrigerate the mixture while you work on creating crunchy cinnamon treats.
2
To create the cinnamon chips, start by arranging a stack of tortillas on a flat surface. Using a sharp blade, cut through the stack in multiple places to create eight wedges from each tortilla. Arrange these wedges out in a single layer on two prepared baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
3
Next, spray the tortilla wedges lightly with cooking oil and sprinkle them generously with cinnamon sugar. Spray again to ensure an even coating, then place the baking sheets in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake until the chips are golden and crispy, taking around 8 to 10 minutes. Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on the baking sheets, approximately 15 minutes. Finally, serve these crunchy treats alongside your chilled fruit salsa.
