- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 medium carrots, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 cubes beef bouillon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 quarts water, divided
- 1 head cabbage, cored and cut into wedges
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Crush ground beef into a substantial container. Introduce diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, carrots, onion, sugar, vinegar, bouillon cubes, salt, and pepper. Add 1 quart of water to the mixture and heat it until boiling point is reached. Stir constantly to disintegrate beef while heating up the mixture.

Continue cooking until the soup reaches its boiling point, then decrease heat to a low level, cover it with a lid, and let it simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the remaining water to the pot and return the mixture to a gentle boil. Introduce cabbage and garlic into the soup, then let it simmer until the cabbage becomes tender, approximately 25 minutes.
