- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Heat a saucepan over medium heat and melt butter in it. Introduce the onion into the pan, stirring constantly until it becomes soft and translucent. Combine ketchup with other ingredients - cider vinegar, water, apple juice, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, molasses, honey, mustard powder, chili powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper - in the pan. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Gradually lower the heat to low; let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
