  • 4 cups blackberry juice
  • 1 green jalapeno pepper, minced

  • 3 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 5 half pint canning jars with lids and rings

Stir together blackberry juice, the pectin mixture, green jalapeño, and red jalapeño in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for 1 full minute, ensuring it reaches a high temperature.

Add sugar to the saucepan and continue boiling until the sugar has fully dissolved, about 1 minute. This will help to create a clear and smooth jelly.
