- 2 acorn squash, halved and seeded
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 pinch brown sugar

Begin by preheating your oven to a scorching 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 200 degrees Celsius. Position the acorn squash on a baking sheet with its cut side facing downwards.

Then, place the squash in the oven and bake for a full 30 minutes. Next, carefully flip the squash over and sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon into its center. Dot the top with butter to add an extra layer of flavor.

After this, continue baking until the flesh can be easily pierced with a fork. This should take an additional 30 minutes, bringing your total baking time to one hour.

Once the squash is tender, remove it from the oven and scoop out its flesh into a bowl. Mix in an equal amount of brown sugar until it is evenly combined with the squash's tender flesh.
