Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, divided, softened
- 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
- 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons pearl sugar

Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Use a pastry brush to coat the inside of a fluted tube-shaped baking vessel with 1/4 cup of melted butter, followed by a light dusting of bread crumbs.

Combine 3/4 cup of softened butter, flour, granulated sugar, milk, ground cardamom, and baking powder in a bowl to create a dough that is neither too smooth nor too thick; transfer this mixture to the prepared tube pan.

Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon and some pearl sugar over the top of the dough, respectively.

Place the prepared tube pan in the preheated oven and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, approximately 1 hour.

Allow the baked goods to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before carefully removing them to a wire rack where they can cool completely.
