- 2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup whipping cream

Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius. Combine fresh strawberries with one quarter cup of sugar in a large bowl and let it sit for now.

In another bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, three tablespoons of sugar, and melted butter until you get a smooth dough-like consistency. Using a spoon, drop small portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake until it turns golden brown, taking around 10 to 12 minutes. While the shortcakes are baking, whip heavy whipping cream in a separate bowl using an electric mixer on high speed until it forms soft peaks.

Split the warm shortcakes open and fill them with your favorite strawberries, then top it off with a dollop of whipped cream.
