  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®

Cover the mixture and allow it to rest for an extended period of time, preferably under cover, overnight.

Heat the rhubarb and sugar mixture over medium heat until it reaches a boiling point.

Maintain this temperature for 12 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent scorching, on low heat.

Immediately remove the saucepan from the heat source and incorporate the dry gelatin mix into the mixture.
