- 2 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries
- 2 (8 inch) pie shells, baked
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®

Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan, blending them thoroughly until they form a uniform mixture.

Add boiling water to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture becomes thickened and transparent, taking approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

Immediately remove the saucepan from the heat source and stir in the gelatin mix until it's fully incorporated and smooth.

Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature, giving it time to chill for 15 to 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the pie shells by placing fresh strawberries inside them with their tips pointing upwards.
