Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed fresh strawberries
- 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O® mix
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix, batter prepared as directed on package
- 1 cup water
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.

Take a baking dish and cover the bottom with crushed strawberries, then sprinkle gelatin powder evenly over the top of the strawberries. Add mini marshmallows on top.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, eggs, and oil. Use an electric mixer to blend the ingredients on low speed until they form a moist mixture. Gradually increase the speed to medium and continue mixing for 2 minutes.

Pour the cake batter on top of the marshmallows in the baking dish, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the same pan for 15 minutes. Use a knife to loosen the edges of the cake, then carefully lift it out of the pan and place it on a serving plate.
