Stovetop Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce (such as A1®)
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, divided, or to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • cooking spray
Instructions
1
Begin by finely chopping the shallot using a medium-sized grater and transfer it to a large bowl. Ensure you collect any remaining juice from the shallot, as this will add flavor to your dish.
2
Next, combine the chopped shallot with ground turkey, mayonnaise, steak sauce, and chopped parsley in the bowl. Mix these ingredients together using your hands until they are fully incorporated.
3
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. Sprinkle both sides of the patties with garlic salt and pepper for added flavor.
4
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, then spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Once the pan is hot, add the patties, seasoned-sides down. Sprinkle both sides of the patties with more garlic salt and pepper.
5
Continue to cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on the first side, or until they are browned. Flip them over and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink.
