Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- 1 pound fresh large shrimp, deveined with shells on

Combine water, vinegar, and seafood seasoning in a saucepan and bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add the shrimp to the saucepan and gently stir them in.

Lower the heat to a moderate level, cover the saucepan with a lid, and continue to steam the shrimp, occasionally stirring them gently, until they turn a vibrant orange hue, typically within 3 to 5 minutes.

Remove the shrimp from the saucepan and drain them off.
