  • 5 cups crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®), divided
  • 2 cups fruit-flavored breakfast cereal (such as Post® Fruity Pebbles®), divided
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. \nPrepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper, making sure to cover the entire surface.\nIn a large saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Continue cooking and stirring the butter until it reaches a golden brown color and emits a nutty aroma, taking about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in marshmallows and continue cooking until they have melted, approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Add bourbon and a pinch of salt; mix until well combined.\nGradually incorporate the cake mix into the marshmallow mixture, stirring until it is fully dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat source.\nDivide the rice cereal into two portions: half for the marshmallow mixture and half to be added separately.
