- 1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta
- 1 (6 ounce) package spinach leaves
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 ounces prosciutto, diced
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts

Fill a large pot with salted water, making sure the amount is light. Place it on high heat and bring to a vigorous boil. Introduce bow tie pasta into the pot and return it to the boiling point. Continue cooking, without covering the pot and occasionally stirring the pasta, until it reaches a cooked state but still retains some firmness in the center, approximately 12 minutes.

Rinse the pasta with cold water to reduce its temperature and then drain it thoroughly using a colander placed in the sink.

Combine spinach leaves and fresh basil leaves in a large bowl, mixing them together thoroughly.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and introduce garlic into the skillet for 1 minute. Continue cooking until the garlic is fragrant, then add prosciutto to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Remove the skillet from the heat source.

Combine the prosciutto mixture with spinach and basil in a bowl, mixing everything together.

Introduce the cooked pasta into the bowl with the spinach mixture and mix again to combine. Season the pasta with salt and pepper according to your preference.
