- 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup finely chopped jalapeno
- 5 hamburger buns

Heat a moderate amount of olive oil over a relatively low heat setting; cook and constantly stir the ground turkey, utilizing the back of a wooden spoon to break it down into tiny fragments as it cooks. When approximately half of the meat has turned a light brown color, incorporate the onion, garlic, and a pinch of black pepper into the mixture; continue to cook and stir until the turkey is fully broken down, evenly browned, and no longer retains its pink hue.

Introduce 1 tablespoon of the prepared mustard, a dash of cayenne pepper, chili powder, and water into the mixture; bring it to a rolling boil, then decrease the heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid has evaporated, approximately 20 minutes. Add the remaining mustard and finely chopped jalapeno to the mixture; cook until heated through, around 5 additional minutes.
