Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons parsley paste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- cooking spray
Instructions
1
Combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, scallions, egg, minced garlic, parsley paste, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and salt in a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
2
To prepare the oven, preheat it to a high temperature of 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly spray a baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3
Shape the turkey mixture into four uniform patties; arrange them in the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
4
Place the patties in the preheated oven and bake until they are no longer pink in the center and the juices flow freely, approximately 30 minutes. To ensure food safety, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the patties; they should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
