- 1 tablespoon tom yum paste
- 1/2 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 3 stalks lemon grass, chopped
- 2 makrut lime leaves
- 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - shredded
- 4 ounces fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chopped green chile pepper
- 1 bunch fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 sprig fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
1
Heat the chicken stock in a large saucepan over high heat, causing it to reach its boiling point. Introduce the tom yum paste and garlic into the saucepan, blending them together for approximately 2 minutes. Add the lemon grass and lime leaves to the mixture, stirring until they are fully incorporated.

Next, add the chicken to the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes, or until it reaches a safe internal temperature and the juices run clear.
3
Add the mushrooms to the saucepan, stirring them in until they are well combined with the other ingredients. Introduce the fish sauce, lime juice, and green chile pepper into the mixture, blending everything together until it is well combined.
4
Finally, remove the saucepan from the heat source and serve the dish warm, garnished with coriander and basil.
