Spicy Stuffed Eggs
Ingredients
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
  • 1 pinch salt and black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground paprika, for dusting (divided)
  • 1 (6 ounce) can black olives, drained and cut in half horizontally
Instructions
1
Begin by placing eggs into a saucepan with a lid, followed by the addition of water to cover them completely. Next, bring the mixture to a rolling boil and then immediately remove it from the heat source. Allow the eggs to sit, covered, for 10-12 minutes, giving them time to cook thoroughly. Remove the eggs from the hot water and let them cool down slightly before proceeding.
2
Once the eggs have cooled, gently crack them open and peel off the shells. Next, cut each egg in half lengthwise to reveal the soft, edible center within. Carefully remove the yolks from each egg half and place them in a bowl with a variety of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper. Use a fork to mash the yolks until they're smooth and well-combined with the other ingredients.
3
With the yolk mixture thoroughly blended, use a spoon or a piping bag to fill each egg half with the delicious filling. To add an extra touch, dust the tops of the eggs with a pinch of paprika before placing a half-olive on top, round side up. Finally, place the eggs in the refrigerator to chill for 20-30 minutes before serving them cold.
