- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion

Clean and remove excess moisture from the jellyfish; transfer it to a container.

Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chili oil, and ginger in a small bowl; mix well with the jellyfish and let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.

Heat a dry skillet over medium-low heat; toast sesame seeds until they turn golden brown, approximately 1 minute. Allow them to cool down for about 5 minutes before setting aside.

Add chopped cilantro and green onions to the jellyfish mixture; sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top and present the dish immediately.
