- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, drained
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper

Put pork sausage in a substantial, deep frying pan. Heat it over a moderately high flame until the sausage is uniformly browned on all sides.

Remove the sausage from the pan and set it aside. Add sliced onions to the same pan and cook until they start to soften, about 2 minutes. Introduce diced tomatoes with green chile peppers into the pan and stir occasionally, allowing the mixture to gently bubble for around 15 minutes.

Combine softened cream cheese with sour cream in the sausage mixture. Add a pinch of crushed red pepper to enhance the flavor.
