- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

Preheat a heavy cooking vessel over medium-high heat to achieve a high temperature. Sear and blend sausage, onion, and celery in the preheated cooking vessel until the sausage is nicely browned and has a crumbly texture, approximately 5 to 7 minutes; remove excess fat from the mixture.

Combine diced potatoes, chicken broth, salt, and pepper with the sausage mixture; bring to a rolling boil. Decrease heat and let it simmer until the potatoes are tender, roughly 10 minutes. Introduce whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, evaporated milk, paprika, and cayenne pepper into the mixture; let it simmer until heated through, taking an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
