Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next, take a 12x18 inch baking pan and give it a light coating of butter or cooking spray to prevent the cake from sticking, then dust it with flour.
2
In a massive mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients - 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Now, add the margarine - 1/2 cup - and oil - 1/4 cup - to the bowl, along with 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of sour milk, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
3
Mix the ingredients together until they form a smooth batter. Pour the cake mixture evenly into the prepared 12x18 inch pan.
4
Place the cake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes, or until you insert a toothpick into the cake and it comes out clean. Once done, let the cake cool down.
