Submerge the jalapenos in a saucepan filled with sufficient water to envelop them completely. Initiate boiling and continue cooking until the jalapenos become tender, losing their luster, approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Utilize a slotted spoon to extract the jalapenos, detach their stems, and deposit them into a blender.

Add the tomatoes to the saucepan and bring to a boil, allowing 2 to 3 minutes to loosen their skin. Carefully remove the skin from the tomatoes and incorporate them into the blender.

Combine the onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt, and black pepper in the blender with the jalapenos, tomatoes, and blend to achieve the desired consistency.
