- 1 (4 ounce) can diced jalapeno peppers
- 3 green onions, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 (16 ounce) package wonton wrappers
- 1 quart vegetable oil for frying

Combine softened cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, diced jalapeño peppers, chopped green onions, and minced garlic in a medium-sized bowl.

Place wonton wrappers on a clean surface and fill each one with roughly 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture. Fold the wrappers into triangular shapes and press the edges together with a damp fork to seal them tightly.

Heat oil over high heat in a large, deep frying pan. Carefully drop 4 wontons at a time into the hot oil and fry quickly, flipping them once. Remove from heat when they turn golden brown and drain on paper towels immediately.
