Spicy Ground Beef and Peas
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tablespoon Masala curry powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut, or to taste
Instructions
1
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter in it. Next, add sliced onions and minced garlic to the skillet and cook constantly until they become translucent, taking anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes.
2
Subsequently, add the beef to the skillet and stir it constantly until it becomes crumbly and loses its pink color, which usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes.
3
After that, remove any excess fat from the skillet using a paper towel or a spoon.
4
Then, combine diced tomatoes, frozen peas, curry powder, salt, paprika, chili powder, and black pepper into the beef mixture. Stir everything together and continue cooking until the sauce thickens, approximately taking 20 minutes.
5
Finally, garnish your dish with shredded coconut.
