Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- garlic powder to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 pound fresh crabmeat
- 3 dashes hot sauce
- Old Bay Seasoning TM to taste
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit, which is equivalent to 165 degrees Celsius.
2
Next, lightly coat a 1 quart baking dish with a thin layer of cooking spray or oil to prevent the mixture from sticking.
3
In a medium-sized bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, garlic powder and approximately 2 tablespoons of the Cheddar cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
4
Add the crabmeat, hot sauce and 2 tablespoons of seafood seasoning to the bowl. Gently fold these ingredients into the mixture.
5
Transfer the prepared mixture to the lightly greased baking dish.
6
Cover the top of the baking dish with the remaining Cheddar cheese and sprinkle some additional seafood seasoning for extra flavor.
7
Bake the mixture in your preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until it reaches a bubbly and lightly browned consistency.
