Preheat a large skillet over high heat, allowing it to reach its optimal temperature. Sear the chorizo in the scorching skillet until it reaches a satisfying brown color and crumbles easily, taking approximately 5 to 7 minutes; carefully pour the chorizo into a slow cooker and set it aside.
