Heat a large pot over medium heat and sauté the chicken until it develops a light brown color, approximately 5 minutes. Add minced garlic to the pot and cook until its aroma is released, roughly 1 minute.

Combine vegetable broth, sliced carrots, and frozen corn into the pot with the chicken; bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Add cooked rice noodles, diced red pepper, chopped basil leaves, and chili flakes to the pot; lower the heat and let it simmer until the noodles are tender, around 5 minutes.
