Spicy Cajun Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon prepared Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
Instructions
1
Place eggs in a medium-sized saucepan and submerge them completely under cold water. Bring the water to a rolling boil, then swiftly take it off the heat source. Cover the saucepan with a lid and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove them from the hot water, let them cool down, and then peel off the shells.
2
Cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Separate the yolks from the egg whites and place them in a medium-sized bowl, setting the egg whites aside. Use a fork to mix the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon-style mustard, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
3
Fill the hollowed-out egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle a pinch of cayenne pepper on top to add some heat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
