- 2 (10 inch) flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno peppers
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 3 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Collect all necessary components beforehand.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Cover tortillas with aluminum foil.

Bake covered tortillas in the preheated oven until warmed through, approximately 15 minutes.

Simultaneously, heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
