Spicy Bison Game Day Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground bison
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package McCormick® Hot Chili Seasoning Mix
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food (such as Velveeta ®), cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno peppers
Instructions
1
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, about 5 minutes, until the meat and onion are nicely browned. Remove excess fat from the pan.
2
Next, add the canned tomatoes and the pre-mixed seasoning blend to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, stirring occasionally.
3
Once boiling, decrease the heat and cover the skillet with a lid. Let it gently simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
4
Subsequently, stir in the shredded cheese until it is fully incorporated and melted. Continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese has reached the desired consistency.
5
Transfer the dish to a serving bowl and top it with a dollop of sour cream and sliced jalapeno peppers. Finally, serve the dish alongside crispy tortilla chips.
