Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons red curry paste
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup water as needed
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions
1
Combine the ground pork, finely chopped onion, chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, curry paste, garam masala, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl; thoroughly blend the ingredients together and set them aside momentarily.
2
Prepare a separate container for the flour, then gradually add water as necessary until you achieve a soft and pliable dough; some excess water may remain. Roll out small, walnut-sized balls of dough into thin, delicate circles for wrappers.
3
Fill each wrapper with approximately 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture. Wet the edges of the wrapper, then fold it in half to create a half-moon shape, sealing the filling within. Repeat this process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
4
Place the dumplings in a steamer over 1-inch boiling water, covering them completely. Steam until the dough has become shiny and glossy, taking around 10 minutes.
5
Mix peanut butter, cayenne pepper, sugar, and vegetable oil in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl. Heat it in the microwave on high for 30 seconds; stir thoroughly before serving alongside the dumplings.
