  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

In a spacious container, blend together rolled oats, plump raisins, wheat germ, whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, warm cinnamon, fragrant ginger, and a pinch of salt. Create a central indentation in the mixture.

In another bowl, merge applesauce, golden honey, egg, and a hint of vanilla extract until they harmonize; pour the blended mixture into the central indentation. Using two utensils, gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until everything is fully combined. Pour and press the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
