Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup turbinado sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 orange, zested
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 dash ground black pepper
Instructions

Combine cranberries, white granulated sugar, turbinado sugar, water, grated orange peel, cinnamon sticks, fresh ginger slices, whole cloves, and ground allspice in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the temperature and stir constantly until the sugars have dissolved and the cranberries have burst open, approximately 10-12 minutes.

Use an immersion blender to puree the cranberry mixture until it reaches your desired consistency.

Fill a glass pint jar with the blended cranberry mixture and let it cool until it has thickened and set, around 1 hour.
