Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 1 (1.41 ounce) package sazon seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons adobo seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can red beans, drained
- 1 (2.25 ounce) can pitted green olives

Combine water, uncooked rice, and olive oil in a large saucepan over high heat. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil.

Add diced onion, Sazón seasoning, adobo seasoning, minced garlic, and black pepper to the saucepan. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Gradually decrease the heat to a low simmer; cover the saucepan with a lid and cook for 10 minutes, allowing the rice to soften.

Add cooked beans and pitted olives to the saucepan. Continue cooking until all the liquid has been absorbed, taking approximately another 10 minutes.

Stir the mixture before serving hot.
